Meet our SLE Team
Rebecca Bliss qualified as a Primary School Teacher in 2003 when she joined Buckden School. Following six years as a class teacher, PSHCE Co-Ordinator, Unit Leader and a brief period as Acting Assistant Head, Rebecca then took the role of SENDCo. Over the last three years Rebecca has taken a pro-active role as a Senior Leader striving to improve the provision for pupils with SEN at Buckden, whilst also supporting other SENDCo’s in the development of their role in the settings in which they work. Rebecca has recently recieved the National Award for SEN as well as completing training in a number of specific SEN difficulties. The result of her training has meant Buckden now offers high quality provision to their SEN pupils, particularly those with Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs and Dyslexia.
